Attended a 30th birthday party here recently (as a supplier, not a guest) and was so impressed. Lovely bar, the speakeasy is fab and the staff could not have been more accomodating and helpful. Will definitely be visiting again as a customer!

A fantastic cafe area up top and a more private area downstairs for private functions. The atmosphere and service here is second to none and the drinks and cakes are delicious. They have a selection of gluten free and vegan options available too. They have gluten free barista oat milk and assortment of gluten free syrup, which is much appreciated. I can't recommend this place enough for dine in or take out, at a very reasonable price too.

It has been many years since my wife and I last frequented this establishment. Recently, we went back, and it was wonderful to see that the place hasn’t changed. Former British Touring Car Champion and TV host Jason Plato still holds the lap record of 1 min 43.4 sec, which he has held since 1998, an impressive achievement. However, in the years since we last went, I see several have come close, including a very respectable 1 min 44.21 sec by Marti Pellow in 2005. There is still the historic spice bazaar held between the main course and dessert, hosted by former Ipswich Town defender John Wark

A delightful pub that’s bigger than its name suggests. With a lovely seating area outside overlooking the canal and a second bar downstairs, there’s more to this micro pub than meets the eye. Well worth a visit.
