Pleasant morning having coffee and scones at the Street Kitchen. We had our dog with us and thankful they allow dogs into the cafe. However, due to the popularity, the area needs to be expanded to cope with the demand. We asked some lovely ladies if we could share their table, to which they kindly agreed. But having spoken to them, they didn’t have a dog but love sitting on these chairs! The garden centre itself was great too and we loved having a wander and buying a few bits! There’s plenty of parking too!

Very smart garden centre with huge plant stock. Plus a large display of garden building (sadly, way beyond my price range). Also alongside there is a branch of Cotton Traders.

I had a great experience at Notcutts Edwalton recently. I was trying to find a special plant for my Dad’s 90th birthday and after deliberating for quite some time I decided to seek help and asked staff member Lucy. She was amazing, so friendly and helpful. She showed me a beautiful Camelia and suggested I got it gift wrapped which is a service I didn’t know existed. I was so happy with my purchase it looked great and Dad loved it :) Thank you Lucy

Very busy for a Thursday, but had a work meeting there and easy to talk. Clean and a great selection of hot food available, cooked fresh and delivered to table very quickly. Staff very helpful and friendly. Highly recommend the cheese and chive scones!
