What can I say …visited once and now I’m a regular ! The food is exquisite , the charred cabbage with almonds and secret ingredients (chefs magic) is divine , the fish fresh and the dessert to die for. The strength of this restaurant is also the staff …. They are friendly , accommodating and very attentive ( thank you Kas and Jess) . The chefs are also lovely. They worked around my requests and were absolutely lovely. So talented. A welcoming no- fuss place , with excellent food . Most importantly this is a very welcoming place, and after only a few times it feels like home. I will return a

Unassuming frontage hids a magical restaurant with home style roasts on Sunday. We had choices of beef, lamb, pork, chicken nut roast as well as fish. The table had the beef and one fish, all with Yorkshire pudding and roast potatoes. We added red Cabbage and cauliflower cheese perfect. Deserts included affagato Really pleasent lunch, the noise levels was one the high side.

Is Farmyard losing its charm and originality? The staff friendly but casual. It’s the 3rd time that for the set lunch, we cannot choose a glass of rose wine (none available) even though it is offered on the menu? We were the only ones in the restaurant for Friday lunch. The food was fine, although menu has not changed much. No coffee, the machine was broken. It would have been good to have been shown the bill, before being charged on the iPad. The floor was dirty. Sadly I’m done with this restaurant, maybe as it didn’t have any other customers, others are moving on too.

I don’t normally leave reviews but we had the most lovely time & meal at Farmyard today, we had a Sunday roast, beautifully cooked & want to thank head chef Elliot for a delicious starter, meal & sweet treat to finish off. We were so very well looked after by all staff. I would highly recommend this little gem, thank you so much xxxx
