Party of 7 arrived at Pizza Express Salisbury at 12.20. Fairly quiet only c. 50% occupancy and only using the downstairs. Took ages from start to finish, we were finally able to leave after paying bill 2 hours and 15 minutes after arriving. Felt about as far from Express as you could get! To be fair I got the feeling they may have been short staffed. Was cold in the restaurant, they kept the outer door open on a wintery day and the inner door was not that good, so felt the chill sitting down being inactive, expect the staff moving about didn't notice it as much as diners would have. We stopped off for a bite to eat at this restaurant today (Sunday 18th of Jan). It’s the first time we’ve been here because we live in Blackpool, Lancashire and were down visiting our son, daughter in law and new born baby Peggie, who’s only 11 weeks old today. Half way through being breast fed Peggie decided she didn’t want to be latch on and screamed the place down, much to the embarrassment of mum who then became really upset thinking it was her fault. Falsely advertised £10 lunchtime offer. We were charged full price, despite informing staff we wanted to use that offer, and ordering off the menu for that offer. Apparently had to be ordered via the app but this was not mentioned at all on the board on which it was advertised or by staff. We then tried to download and use the app after already being given the incorrect bill but it did not work. Pizza express refuse to refund overcharge.
