It looks delicious, but the taste is really quite average. After a few bites of the sandwich, I didn’t want to eat any more, it was very salty and sour. The donut was supposed to be passion fruit flavored, but it was just overwhelmingly sweet. The dishes I choose were not worth the price🥲

Steamyard is literally a few yards away from my place and went there last weekend. We had amazing coffees (mocha was a bit too sweet for my liking), but it was the food that made the experience unforgetable. We had the black garlic veg sandwhich (see menu for all the ingredients) which was probably the most interesting & unique combo of flavor I've had in between bread. The apple danish pastry was bloody amazing too!

I would say steam yard has some of the best smoothest tasting coffee in Sheffield. Have been a couple times now and they are always consistent. Flat whites, iced lattes very good, no bitter notes and a great taste. Hot chocolate is good, but not worth a re-order. The only baked good of theirs I can reccomend is the lemon meringue donut. It has a great balance of tart and sweetness, messy but definitely worth it. Service is lovely, however can get cramped here very quick, even ordering can be a bit of a chore with the way the queue goes out the door.

Rustic, tucked away cafe in the heart of Sheffield with friendly staff. Small variety of savoury sandwiches and bagels on offer, and a slightly larger variety of sweet pastries/cakes. Also the standard smattering of hot drink options you'd expect from such a place. All of which are delicious.
