I’ve just had a delightful time at the pub quiz here at The ball! Got there at 7 and ordered some food and drinks to the table before the quiz started. All of which was yummy and really decently priced. That’s what i like about northern pubs! Although my friend said her taco was “mid”. Fab music playlist in the background playing with some 90s/00s throwbacks. The lady hosting the quiz was brilliant and we really enjoyed ourselves, especially the kahoot round. Would definitely do it again! Fella collecting the glasses was just in normal clothes without a uniform/no indication he was staff. Ever

Food was delicious 😋 and arrived rather quick. Lovely large heated beer garden 🍺 Prices for both food and drink, extremely impressive. Would definitely visit again. Want to try their Sunday Lunch.

My first visit here. The staff were very friendly and obviously had a very good relationship with the regulars. I got a very welcoming greeting from Jess, the manager, and Logan, who served me. The beer was on point. I had a farmers blonde and a Barnsley bitter. Two very different beers but both very nice. The food was good, I had a burger, doubled it up, and was full when I'd finished. Very good chance I'll be paying a return visit the next time I'm in that neck of woods.

Haven't been here for 35 years. Now a Green King pub. Service excellent and friendly. Pleasant hour spent reminiscing. Great local pub in Crookes, Sheffield.
