We had stayed at Sinclairs Rooms, lord street, southport and decided to go out of lord Street for breakfast. So glad we did. Girls were friendly and helpful. Made fantastic cup of hot tea. How many times I've been places and the tea is,tepid at best. Ordered 2 standard breakfasts....2 bacon, 1 sausage, 2 toast, egg, beans and tomato. Super tasty. Excellent value for money. Not a swanky venue with frills n whistles but a good atmosphere, great food and excellent service. Please support this local business. You'll leave with a happy tummy guaranteed. Are you sick of the weekend millionaires in Southport? People who can’t afford to feed there kids after the first of the month because they earn minimum wage and think there loaded? Sick of every shop and restaurant acting like it was made to cater for a duke? When locals are paying for there parking ticket on klarna? Come to the bridge cafe. No stuck up bullshit, just STUPENDOUS food. Honestly a good traditional British cafe, good pricing, great staff and you don’t get the pretending to be rich atmosphere of Southport, the BEST Place to get breakfast.

Amazing food, more of a “greasy spoon” cafe but there are plenty of healthy options on the menu and things can be customised for those with dietary needs (supplementation and cooking things a certain way such as not in oil.) Incredibly affordable, lovely staff. Roughly 5-10 minute wait time. They do not deliver but you can collect and ring up in advance so your food is ready for when you come in. Id 100% recommend this place if you’re needing a quick, filling and easily affordable lunch or breakfast. :) The opening times are - MON - SAT: 8am - 2:45pm SUN: 8:30am - 2:30pm
