I took my wife here for Birthday meal on the evening and the food was absolutely amazing. We both had 3 courses and drinks too. Food was amazing, but the waiting times are very long. 30 minutes for the starters, over 1 hour for mains and roughly 40 minutes for deserts (which sat in the window for 15 minutes, the bomb desert gimic didn't work as the caramel was cold). Overall I think I would come again and hope for faster service.

First visit to Lockside and we was not disappointed at all. The food was absolutely superb. Partner had the rump and was absolutely beautiful it wasn’t cooked to his specifications but that was a minor issue with the kitchen BUT it did not stop him eating it and enjoying it that much the plate was cleared. I had Sunday lunch trio of meats and it was beautiful veg cooked perfectly and plenty of veg to accompany the plate. Been a long long time since we have enjoyed food to that standard.
