SMIRKS AND RIP OFFS ON THE CORNER I asked the older lady, “what flavour is this cake? Looks delicious” She said, “well, if you read the sign you’ll find out” smirky smile and all. I should have walked out but hey, it was my fault for standing on the wrong side of the countertop, and effectively not seeing the sign. It’s ok I told myself. Then I ordered the pulled pork panini. I’m pretty sure they sprayed the pork, and added 3 times the sugar to the BBQ sauce. It was awful, absolutely awful. Couldn’t do more than 2 bites. The banana chocolate cake was lovely though. Lovely place to stop for lunch, especially on a rainy day in January. Excellent coffee and very tasty panini and sour dough toastie. Unfortunately didn’t have time for a cake which looked lovely but that’s given us a good reason to come back!
