I am absolutely appalled at the poor service and bad manners received at this bar today. Attended as a group of 5 to watch the football. The bar tender clearly didn’t want to be there. Wanted a gin and tonic, asked for any other than Gordon’s, but that was the only option available unless wanted flavoured. Went with Gordon’s to be served it without ice, or lemon. When asked for ice, told they don’t have any. Did management know what was going on today. Usually go to the lounge which is owned by same people, the staff there have manners. Shame on you. Poor staff...poor food... Sadly, this is the first ever negative review I have felt strongly enough to write about. I have never taken pictures of food before but thought that I would to support this review. This was the first time that my family had gone out for a meal since lock down. We looked for somewhere that had outdoor seating available (for obvious reasons)-The seating area was very clean and fresh. This is one of our local spots, and my husband and I came in for breakfast today. Unfortunately, the experience was really disappointing. The food quality was poor, the portions were small, and overall it just didn’t meet expectations. It’s especially frustrating when nearby places like Wetherspoons and Deli Social are offering better quality food and more generous portions at a similar or lower price point. The restaurant itself has a modern feel, but it looked like it hadn’t been cleaned properly in quite some time, which didn’t help the experience. It’s a real shame, as we genuinely like

Came here around lunch time the other day and was served by a delightful, charming young lady called Eliza who made me a lovely coffee. The food was also delicious and great value. Will absolutely be returning again soon!
