Jason Whittle★★★★★Beautiful old pub off the main drag in Swansea town centre. A good portion off the building dates back to 1322, the same year as Swansea Castle. Friendly staff and plenty of big screens for live sport. Competitive prices and an inviting warm atmosphere.
Michael Wiggin★★★★★This was a really interesting pub, still operating since the 1300s! The building looks like it, too. Old stone and mortar. Almost ruins looking. I had no plans of getting food at the time, but it was close enough to lunch time and the building interested me. Going in, I was greeted by the bartender, whose name I forget, but he was an extremely nice man that gave me a history lesson on the building, as well as other places in Swansea, the Castle, and The Mumbles. I got the fish and chips and assume it was pretty traditional, skin and bones and all. Us Americans aren't used to that, but I got th
K. Peake★★★★★This was a fantastic pub for drinking, harboring a vintage aesthetic indoors! The lighting is stylish on the ceiling, counter is well-presented and staff were patient. I enjoyed a pint of Heineken, sitting comfortably at a circular table!

However, the business isn't maximising its potential due to woefully inadequate toilets (not enough and unclean) and below average quality of the Beavertown (a craftbeer usually very good). Both of the points could be rectified. In fairness, the staff work hard- suggesting understaffed?
