Had a Thursday evening meal here early December. Booked a table in advance. Nice and simple pub grub menu. Very good food at a very fair price. Staff are wonderful, very friendly and attentive. Nice selection of beers. All in all very good. Easy to find slap bang in the middle of Syston. Plenty of car parking a very short walk away

Had a pre Xmas Dinner. Food was good. Ordered some drinks, port, was given a 25ml measure when I should have been given a 50ml measure and charged £5. Was over charged for my meal which took 3 attempts to get right. Booked meal 3 weeks in advanced and asked for pork. Was told that there was no pork and given turkey. The meal consisted of a mass of mashed potatoes, an abundance of roast potatoes, a Yorkshire pudding, peas, 1 carrot, 1 parsnip, 3 small Brussel sprouts, 3 small slivers of turkey, 1 small amount of stuffing with the whole meal covered in thick gravy.
