The cafe was busy for outside tables ,inside only option.The drive to cafe is tricky due to a very tight lane from the main road ,easy to miss the turning. Food very basic egg+chips and boring ham. Staff were polite but not overly chatty,service took a long time for the food.. The lake view was nice but not worth a special visit...

This was a nice find on sunday afternoon. Didn't realize it was so close to Maidenhead! The cappuccino was amazing and so was the hot chocolate. The people were so nice, smiling and warm while serving the food. The view was lovely with flight take off every few mins and also train passing by. Would love to visit again sometime soon

I feel like I’ve come to the party late but now want to keep coming back…so I’ve been here x3 in as many weeks and already got a date in the diary to come back next week. Down a little lane that looks like you’re going nowhere then turn left and boom…the beautiful, unspoilt Taplow lake. Not only stunning views from the car park but also from every angle in the outdoor decked cafe. Coffees are wonderful and a really good size, cakes are delicious and the brunch is super.
