We are infrequent users of Fish and Chip shops nowadays - prices have unavoidably risen over the past year. However, this is by far and away the best place in town: they serve excellent quality fish, perfectly cooked in a thin crispy batter - it's never greasy and soggy. Their chips are generally, but not always, excellent, they are never bad. I guess that depends on how busy they are and other factors.
