Arriving by accident at Meadfoot beach by virtue of exploring the “posh” side of Torquay and passing some absolutely magnificent mansions we were overwhelmed by how lovely this beach and the cafe perched just above it are. It’s a perfect “Shangri la” and feels like you are on the Mediterranean with stunning views in all directions. The cafe has a good snack menu and the food coming out looked really good. We just had coffee and a biscuit and sat and relaxed and people watched for 45 mins. Staff were friendly and attentive and all in all the whole area is a real hidden gem…
