Popped in as I was early for an appointment. Wish I hadn’t bothered. Service was slow, I wanted an iced latte. However milk was left on the bench so my coffee was warm, even with the couple of ice cubes in it. I used the toilets before I left. The smell of damp & urine hit me as soon as I got to the door. Washed my hands but the dryer came on and was that powerful it sent the soap into the sink & the water onto the floor. There are nicer cafes in Tynemouth so avoid this place.

Visited on a Sunday, tables were covered in dirty plates and cups despite nobody sitting there. The table I was sat on was covered in crumbs so hadn’t properly been cleaned. The mocha tasted like it was made with a shot of coffee, chocolate sauce and then brimmed with water. Hand dryer above the sink is nice and powerful, unfortunately when you remove your hands it continues and blows the water in the sink all over you.

This is the second time I have visited this cafe. On both occasions the wait for food has been "longer than normal". Tables were full of plates and cups from previous customers. Staff were polite but there was no urgency to clear tables. They could have done with another pair of gands. I won't be back in a hurry

The food here is very good indeed, though the service is always a little slow and seems a little chaotic. I must stress though that the food is of a very good standard and well worth a visit if you are in the area. It was the third time we had been yesterday and it wasn’t massively busy, but the wait of others was quite long. Please do go and help support local as they I am sure are also busy with take away orders as well.
