I booked a table for 7 people and a dog the day before family were visiting. When we arrived they had no record of the booking (I did show the girl the telephone log on my phone). The restaurant was very busy and as we had a dog, we needed to be outside...it wasn't looking good. HOWEVER, the girl on front of house spoke to the manager (who came out and apologised) and they rallied round to sort some tables. Some lads offered to move and they managed to get us in. Had a lovely breakfast last Thursday morning. I visited alone and not from the area, but knew of the place from colleagues. I think these type of places can sometimes feel pretentious if the service doesnt match the decor and environment, but they were fantastic. Kind and welcoming. As for the food, the scrambled eggs on a bagel with a cappuccino was flawless. The presentation as nice as the comfy and warm surroundings. Served quickly with care. The owners and staff clearly pay attention to the customer experience and small details. They deserve to do well. I'll be back.
