Terrible experience at the McDonald’s in Bentley Bridge, Wolverhampton. The store was cash only and not accepting card payments. I had completed the Food for Thought survey so I could redeem the cheaper Big Mac and fries offer, but when I tried to use it I was told I could only pay with cash. I explained that I didn’t have cash and had specifically come to redeem the offer, but the staff member just shrugged and said “there’s nothing I can do” with a very negative attitude. I asked if the manager could help, but instead I got more attitude and the same response – “either pay cash or nothing.

recently visited McDonald’s and had a very pleasant experience overall. McDonald’s has always been known for its consistent taste, quick service, and affordable meals, and this visit was no different. As soon as I walked in, the restaurant was clean and well organized, with a comfortable seating area that made it a nice place to sit and enjoy a quick meal. The ordering process was simple and fast. Past few times I’ve been here the fries have been disgusting, not sure what they’re doing to them. The self serve tills never have receipt paper in and they clearly lie on their stats as every single time I go it says that the order is ready for collection and you’re still waiting for ten/fifteen minutes to actually get the food. Head office could do with mystery shopping this branch.

These people mix old fries with new fries and when I asked them to change them they did the same thing again, and their Asian employees are very rude to Asian customers. Unfortunately MC used to be known for its customer service and quality but in 2025 it has gone down to 50%.
