Village Way, Wilmslow The quality has fallen dramatically. The last two times I ordered fish and chips, the fish seemed old and re-fried rather than freshly cooked. The dry texture and stale taste were impossible to ignore. Serving reheated fish and charging customers as if it’s freshly prepared is not acceptable. Consistency and freshness are the bare minimum for a fish and chips shop. I gave this place a second chance after the first disappointing visit, but getting the same poor quality again confirms that standards have clearly slipped. I will not be returning and cannot recommend it.

I have been here on a Saturday lunchtime for takeaway almost every week now for the last 5 years and I can honestly say that it’s the best fish and chips I’ve ever had. The staff are great too, especially Nikki and George. I am really fussy about fish and chips and it’s consistently the best around! Highly recommended.
