Looks a lovely friendly cafe , entering the cafe you get the warm smell of the log fire and food , nicely laid out with plenty of room between tables and comfy seats . Never having been there before I ask if the orders were taken from the till or tables , the young staff member said she would come to the table . We recently hosted a private party here for my mum’s 70th birthday. The planning was made easy by owner Adam’s warm hospitality and relaxed approach. The night went without a hitch thanks to the Old Garages team - they were attentive, warm and professional. The canapés were delicious and we had so many compliments from our guests. We wouldn’t hesitate to visit again for brunch/lunch and as a venue for future events. Thanks to the whole team!

Today was my third visit and on each occasion I’ve had a lovely experience. From the moment I walked in I was given a warm welcome and the staff have been consistently friendly and efficient. The food is imaginative, fresh, and absolutely delicious, and the portions are a perfect size. This is definitely somewhere I’ll be returning to regularly and shall happily recommend to others.
