Midweek late lunchtime so it wasn’t busy but seems like a good time to visit if you’ve not booked and want to play some Super Mario Kart on the SNES and take your time to enjoy the decor. The pies were fantastic - so much variety for you to pick from and customise - we went for the Woolverine, which hit the spot as something different to the usual beef and ale which we were tempted by. The meal was everything we expected at a reasonable price. Drinks were great, we had a Meantime Haze IPA on draught and an ice tea - both were delicious. Fun restaurant not far from the main shopping area and cathedral. We enjoyed dinner here on the way back to the train station. Many gluten-free options available, including desert. Enjoy!

We popped in for lunch as we were in town. Friends have recommended the restaurant as a place to try. The service was friendly and the food came very quickly. The menu was explained to us, and there were lots of options. The pie was beef and Stilton which was a tasty combination. I did not really taste the cheese in the mash. My partner really enjoyed playing the games on the table. This little restaurant is something different and off the main high street. Worth trying if you are in Winchester.

I had such a great experience at Piecaramba. From the moment I walked in, it hit me with this wave of nostalgia- it genuinely reminded me of those old-school pizza parlours I used to love. There’s that same relaxed, slightly chaotic charm where you can just settle in, enjoy yourself, and not feel rushed. I actually went for the beef pie and cheesy mash and it was really good!
