Every time I come to this Costa Coffee in the Peacocks and order an extra hot latte, most of the time it’s LUKE warm!!! This then results in my coffee being made over again, sometimes twice, which wastes time, effort and money, by the coffee being thrown away! Every staff member is either trained differently or perhaps it’s just can’t be bothereditis!! How hard is it to make an extra hot latte, it’s not rocket science!! On a positive note, staff are friendly, and helpful with the coffee shop being clean and tidy and with the new refurbished looks a lot better!

This lovely lady was running round all on her own on a very hot Saturday, and still had a big smile on her face and was very friendly - great service, she deserves a raise if she’s hasn't got one already!!!!

Went in Wednesday afternoon for 2x carmel frap a young man was reducing some sandwiches. We were standing right next to him. He never acknowledged ushe carried on pricing then walked behind the counter .we ordered then he just started making our order there was no eye contact he never even spoke to us.he never even said goodbye . He looked as if he wasn't enjoying his job and didn't want to be there

Positives: There were tables available There were gluten free cakes They offered cream on top They processed my Vodafone voucher Negatives: Chai latte was actually lukewarm After offering cream, one came without.. we then went back to ask for cream and the server tipped about an inch and a half of the drink out (unnecessarily) to accommodate the cream. I asked about some interesting looking sprinkles and was told they’re for Christmas drinks. I would have liked it as an option. I did not get given a receipt.
