I’m quite disappointed with my experience here. We were asked to pay a £10 deposit to play darts, which seemed reasonable at first. However, while we were playing, one of the darts fell off the board and the plastic end broke. This wasn’t intentional, and I returned it to the bar straight away. I was then told the deposit couldn’t be refunded because of the damage. This feels unreasonable—the cost of a single dart tip doesn’t justify keeping the full £10 deposit, especially when it happened during normal use. A fairer approach would be to deduct a small amount to cover the actual cost of the

I recently visited The Kings Head in Worcester for a Sunday dinner with a friend. The staff were incredibly polite and pleasant, which set a positive tone for the visit. However, there were a few things that could have been improved. Firstly, they didn't ask about any allergies, which felt like an oversight, especially when serving a traditional Sunday roast. Unfortunately I have had an incredibly poor experience with the Kings Head. Having had the owner/manager of the pub agree to sponsor our local amateur sports team, which then resulted in our club incurring costs to print their logo on our shirts, we have never received payment (despite invoices, chaser emails and messages also being sent). It has put our club in financial difficulties, so I would struggle to recommend this pub on the grounds of trust. Update - Following the request made by the pub (owner) in response to my review below, I have tried to a) contact the owner directly through Wh

The new owners have excelled themselves in every way. The inside and outside is now completely renovated which makes it very cosy and comfortable with a relaxed vibe; food is now served every day from 1200-2030 with a roast on Sundays. The food is absolutely great; a pub menu that makes you want to try everything with the right mixture of tradition and modernity, executed perfectly. The triple cooked chips are delicious. By far the best chips in the local area; we had these with our fresh haddock, curry sauce, and mushy peas - all of which was tasty, not greasy and left you very satisfied.
