We visited on a weekday, and even by 9:30 a.m. the café was already full—which says a lot about how popular it is. We ordered French toast, eggs on toast, coffee, and a brownie. Everything was exceptional, especially the French toast, which was truly out of this world. The staff were also very friendly and welcoming, which made the experience even better. If you’re visiting York, this place is definitely worth a visit.

Went to Partisan for a quick lunch before going to the theatre. It's cozy inside, and there's a cute marquee outside, which is where we sat. Food was delicious, homemade and felt very wholesome. Cakes were stunning and freshly baked. Service was quick and attentive. Thoroughly recommend!

It’s our favourite place to go for brunch when we are in York. They are friendly and give a warm welcome. We have an Egg Benedict with Bacon and a Bacon Sandwich. It was cooked perfectly and tasted good, especially the Hollandaise Sauce, which was just right, and the bacon was a little salty. The price is reasonable and not too high. They also offer a variety of cakes and pastries. I tried the Pork sausage pie before, and it was delicious. I also love the decoration and setting that make it cosy and warm. It’s a good spot to stop by before exploring the city.

Speciality pastry and coffee outlet, with everything made on site. Plenty of seating inside, more downstairs, and even more out back in the marquee in the garden. Check out the original pastries, and brunch options. Great coffee and pastries, and friendly , professional staff. Had coffee on the first visit, popped back the next day for brunch. Highly recommend the Partisan Breakfast.
