Great outdoor cafe with a view. This is such a great place to sit outside and really enjoy a view of the Bay. The coffee is great and the scones are delicious. My only complaint is that it's a bit pricey, but I guess you pay for the great view! It's a very small cafe, so not for big groups. I've been several times and have never had a hard time finding a table. It can be windy and cold, or quite hot as the outdoor seating area is only partly shaded. There's seating at small tables or on high stools along a bar overlooking the water.

Edited after Scott's reply to my original review. Thank you so much Scott. This is certainly outstanding customer service and greatly appreciated. 🙂 I hope to meet you in person when I go back! Maybe it was a one time bad experience but for me a stark contrast from past experiences before the change of ownership of this cafe. I ordered an avocado toast on GF bread (the bread was not great but decent) +egg. I found a new treasure in Alameda! Great coffee, a delicious croissant bacon/egg sandwich, and a view. The service was excellent and I went alone, but ended up meeting a new friend over breakfast. Great little spot!

We had such a peaceful and wonderful breakfast at Mosley’s Cafe while celebrating our anniversary. The food was delicious, the atmosphere was relaxing, and it was the perfect place for a quiet morning together. One of our favorite parts was sitting by the water and watching people practicing rowing on the bay — it was calming and beautiful to watch while enjoying our meal. A lovely hidden gem for breakfast and a relaxing start to the day!
