Christina Ehrlichman★★★★★

Visiting Miami for Memorial Day weekend, restaurant was fairly busy about noon, we had a party of 3 and were quickly seated. We ordered 4 empanadas( shrimp were my favorite) and a lechón with double arros con gandules, this was large enough for two people to share. Our son ordered the fries with chicken tenders. The bread with lemon oil was delicious as a starter. Overall had a great experience. Wait staff was friendly and extremely helpful. Pricing was great for what we got. 10/10 recommend.

I live in Minnesota but travel to Miami a lot to get on different cruises but always have to stop here and get some good food. Prices are reasonable and the food is so good!!! Trust me… if I lived in Miami I’d go there every week!!

I’ve tried this place twice and it always disappoints. None of the food tased authentically Puerto Rican. The menu consists mainly of typical Cuban breakfast items like toasts, coffee and oddly enough waffles. This second time I ordered lechón asado with arroz con gandulles and sweet plantains. The sweet plantains were not edible at all. They had a disgusting taste and I could tell if it was reheated from a day before or something… the arroz con gandules used non traditional rice and lacked depth or flavor. The lechón asado I ate begrudgingly because it looked like gray. I’m disappointed. You

I'm here right now with my husband and couldn't wait to give them a recommendation, we are in Miami for an event, live in Tampa, FL, but NY Ricans from the Bronx, let me tell you do yourself a favor and run here if you want a true puerto rican meal, I had the oxtail, rice, red beans and maduros, my husband had mofongo with the shrimps in creole sauce, he also had soda de mondongo, all was absolutely delicious!
