Stopped in here for a late lunch while passing through Alton. This place had been on my list to visit for a while. We opted for an order of onion rings for an appetizer ($10 generous portion!) hand breaded. I located the double cheeseburger on the menu and had to have it. Hand pattied (somehow that’s hard to find now?) It was greasy just as it should be! My wife got the breaded pork tenderloin and was pleased. There is a bar area and 2 family rooms. I’ll definitely be back here someday.

Areas for larger parties , a bar area with seating and the regular dining space with high back old fashioned booths. Good service, very attentive and good came out quickly . Burgers, steaks, fish, sandwiches , kids menu , nightly specials lots of options .

Went there and had the onion ring appetizer which was more than enough for two people but we still pounded through it and it was DELICIOUS. We each ordered a burger and chips and one bite into that burger I knew it was going to fill me up way faster than I had filled myself up on the onion rings but I still found it through that too it was delicious. Highly recommend!!

Im sorry I did not get my waitress name. I was in to dine early afternoon. At a time when good service is sometimes hard to find. My waitress was on it. Amazing at her job. Checking on things an making sure my drink was filled. I have been here many times never had bad service but this young lady went above and beyond for her customer. I believe i had the grilled pork tenderloin mashed potatoes and green beans. This was on the 5th. Food was reasonable good and my waitress gets 5 stars on all.
