The food is HORRIBLE!!! My first purchase at this place was in March. I ordered a half dozen glazed donuts and a cinnamon roll. Both items appear burnt, a little hard/stale and the taste was nasty. Fast forward to yesterday, I decided to try them again thinking that my first visit may just have been a bad day for them. I ordered the butterfly roll......YUCK!!! Still HORRIBLE!!! It didn't taste fresh and when I bite into it all I could taste was oil. Yes......OIL!!! And the food still appeared burnt like. I do not recommend this location in Alvin, TX (by Walmart).

Came here because another Shipleys gave me a spoiled coffee and they refused to do anything about it, talking about "different owners" like they arent the same brand. If you can't fix a coffee that probably costs you 40 cents to keep a customer happy, you shouldn't be doing business.

Asked to pick my own donuts twice and whether it was a language barrier or stubborness I ended up paying $30 for donuts I did not want and the manager was less than helpful.....edited to reflect what happen when I got home. Took a bite of a kolache to discover a hair!! It did not suprise me as the manager and staff were eating in the kitchen area. This place is gross and not helpful. I will be avoiding the chain.
