Amherst Buffet is a good & lively family buffet for a cheap price and large Chinese, Japanese, American selection, as well as fruit. Very comparable to Hong Kong buffet. The quality is pretty average for a buffet and the staff is very prompt and efficient, yet friendly. Crab rangoon was good and very comparible to takeout Chinese, same with the vegetable lo mein. My wife and I were long time loyal customers. From the blvd location to Sheridan/Eggert location to now the new Sheridan location. We are no longer customers there. Since the new location opened the food has gone downhill. Less choices, the pans are barely filled or refilled. The food is cold most of the time. We were there on Tuesday 5/26 for the dinner time. Today was our first visit and we will definitely be back. The food was AMAZING!!!! Everything was fresh and hot literally not one bad item. Food seasoned so well. I hope this restaurant never changes . Even the bathroom was super clean $35 for me & the kid not bad at all!
