My friends and I had an amazing time at Salas, we stay for few hours, had appetizers, mains, drinks, beers and of course the sorpresa chocolate all suggested by the server Lourdes. She was friendly, attentive and knowledgeable. Excellent service. Always smiling!! Food was flavorful, tasty and fresh. Good portions … love the cocktails mezcalita paloma, carajillo and Andalucía .. We ordered the artichoke croquetas special, patatas bravas, hanger a la plancha, alisios cheese, and paella de mariscos. The croquetas and patatas were incredible! They both had so much flavor. The croqetas melt in your mouth a bit. The sauce that the patatas were covered in was delicious, and this dish ended up being our favorite. The best Spanish food/tapas in Astoria. Hands down. The croquettes melt in your mouth- all the flavors are delicious! We also got the seafood paella and branzino. Both were flavorful and fresh. Fantastic meal every time.

The service was excellent, everyone was very friendly. The food was very good, however, I think the portions are quite small. The paella for two was a little small for my dad and me, it was still delicious. The atmosphere is normal, very quiet.
