We’ve been to The Rustic Tap a few times now and can honestly say it is the best live music venue on West 6th. We always somehow end up here drawn in from the music they have from local cover bands that pours out onto the street. It’s always busy and has a lot of life plus when it’s hot they have shade, and when it’s cold they have fire pits. The live music is played in the back next to a pit that usually has people dancing but also serves as a great place to watch sports when they seldomly don’t have live music. Visited recently to have a casual drink. Beers were $5 which is great and reasonable. Very crowded with a lot of larger groups. A lot of obnoxious ladies birthday parties. Overall most people seemed pretty chill and casual enjoying a relaxed night out. Bartenders were very attentive and quick too.

The place has a cozy, homey vibe with a mix of seating options—from campfire-style setups to bar seating and regular tables. I tried the Sure 'Nuff (Deep Eddy Lemon, Peach Schnapps, and Pink Lemonade), which was super easy to drink and tasted great. The self-serve water stations were a nice, convenient touch.
