Breakfast was delicious and inexpensive, which is so very welcome in today's economy. They only take cash, so go prepared. Waitresses are great; attentive and efficient. If they have cherry cheesecake please get it, even if it is for breakfast! Decor is Mickey Mouse, Minnie Mouse, Goofy and Daffy, football mugs, and a Harley sign or 2. We went there for breakfast on a Sunday morning from Kent. Worth the drive!

I love this place more than any business left in Akron and it’s not even close. Started going there when I was a kid about 35 years ago when everyone still called it “Joe’s“ and I still call it that to this day. All due respect to the wonderful owners who have maintained it how they have. Everything gets renovated and refaced these days and I love the familiarity of Joe’s. There’s something comforting about it that’s hard to explain. Hard to understand anyone leaving less than 5 stars. Incredible food, great menu and great prices!

I’ve never have a problem with the food. Here is breakfast. It’s simple, but I always have a problem with the service and today I was handed the wrong meal. Went home. Come back and wasn’t told sorry but first told her nothing we can do about it and then they handed me the order and that was it. No sorry. No nothing. The service is always rude. If you’re not a certain type of person which really sucks.

Country fried steak with sausage gravy. The gravy is well-made, and the potatoes are super fluffy. I was able to inhale the plate fairly quickly.
