Went for some beers with a friend whom I was visiting in Bay City. Nice place and they have a good selection of beers on tap. The young, friendly waiter also brought some samples of the ciders for us to try before committing to one. They also have complimentary popcorn which is crazy delicious! Nice, local joint. Worth a stop if you are in town.

Wow, this was pretty awesome tonight. Came in on a Tuesday and they had 1/2 off flights, the choices of beer were outstanding allowing me to sample several new brews. Despite recommendations for burgers and flatbreads, the Hibachi Bowl caught my eye. It came out quickly and was absolutely fantastic, one of the best dishes I’ve had traveling around lately. On top of that, place was clean and the people friendly. I don’t get up to Bay City often, but I will be back here for sure!

I really like the place and I’m sure there is good items on the menu. I got a flatbread pizza I expected it to be a little crunchier it was pretty soggy. Also our cheese curds came out at the same time as our food and they were pretty over cooked most of them were missing the cheese factor. Probably will just try something else next time. Popcorn was the best part.

Had such a great experience at Tavern 101 thanks to Emmeline! She was friendly, attentive, and made the whole atmosphere feel welcoming from the moment we walked in. She stayed on top of everything, had an awesome attitude, and genuinely made the experience better. You can tell she really cares about the customers. Definitely one of the reasons I’d come back again. Highly recommend asking for Emmeline if you stop by!
