I'm not going to lie... I was a bit underwhelmed. We've wanted to check this spot out for awhile, but hadn't had the opportunity until recently. We surprisingly got in quasi-quickly... I put in a call and made a reservation and was told the tables were currently open. Upon arrival, we still waited around ten minutes while they cleaned the table. What do you get when you mix contemporary, cute and quaint all-in-one? (The) Bluebird Kitchen of course! I never heard of this place until a friend suggested we meet for lunch with another gal pal... I'm ALWAYS up to check out and patronize someplace I've never been so I was easily sold! Driving into the parking lot, you're met with a mural (on the side of the eaterie) of a whimsical bluebird-- at that point, I knew it would get better. I didn't know that Bluebird Kitchen offered brunch, so I was happy to come here when I was in the mood for some French Toast. The Challah French Toast was so delicious! The raspberry compote added a fantastic, bright fruitiness, and the whipped mascarpone was the perfect, light, and not-too-sweet finish. This was a dish that I'd happily order again. I came here on a weekday, so the restaurant was very quiet. Service was nice (but a bit slow). I definitely recommend this restaurant for brunch.

Well, tried a location with family today to celebrate an 80th birthday party. We decided to go for brunch at 10:30 am. Since I haven't been to this location I went with an open mind. The atmosphere was definitely inviting. I would say that the brunch menu had something for everyone. The coffee was very good however the cup needed to be bigger. I ordered the poached eggs over short ribs with hollandaise sauce. It came with a little mixed salad and real home fries. The salad had a nice light dressing on it.
