For reference I got the “cortado” with a pump of vanilla and a peach pie type pastry. If you love a more strong bitter tasting coffee the cortado is great I added vanilla for a little more flavor to cater towards my personal preference. The peach pie square added this sweetness lacking with the coffee but gave a perfect contrast overall. The guy taking our order was very rude. When we first ordered a croissant he assumed a butter croissant, but then when we changed it to a chocolate croissant he seemed very irritated. He could have offered us, the customers, the different options they had (butter, chocolate, and almond) or just asked if we were going to do the chocolate instead of the butter. Instead he abruptly said, "So you don't want the butter croissant? You ordered that earlier." Delicious. In-house made caramel for a perfect latte, just the right balance of sweet and bitter- and a cardamom (ocean) roll, which is a must when in Bend. Nice mellow vibe on a Sunday morning.

This place is cute as hell. Very peaceful and inviting atmosphere. They make their own almond cashew milk in house, which was delicious in my cappuccino. Their waffles are nothing short of incredible. I think they might be sourdough? So so good! I want 8 more. I wish I lived in Bend so I could come here all the time.
