I live in Vallejo, so the Pirate is a bit out of the way for me. But I like to support independent and small business whenever I can. Pizza Pirate has a great looking restaurant and very thoughtful and cute "pirate" and high seas theme throughout, even with the naming schemes of their food. Because it's out of the way, I only been here about 3 or 4 times. But 2 orders they forgot toppings I asked for and 1 time there was hardly any sauce on the pizza. My family and I, 4 total, were visiting the area from Salem Oregon, and stumbled across Pizza Pirate on April 10, 2026...what a score! We purchased a combination pizza, cheesy bread sticks, and salad, and all 3 were delicious. Excellent fresh ingredients and very friendly helpful staff, even though it was very busy! An extra thank you to the Manager/Owner, didn't get his name, who took the time to talk with us at great length! Fyi... I'm currently having the last of the leftovers, 3 days later, and it's still delicious!

If you looked at my other posts, you can see I'm all about food. Also I'm not about $100+meals, rather I'm all about great food in a casual environment. Pirate Pizza doesn't disappoint. We had a regular garden salad which came with 2 fresh bread twists and cheese ravioli with pesto which came with 4 bread twists. Who would have thought a pizza place would have such great pasta? Also as you can guess this place is kid friendly.
