I love this place. I’ve been coming here for the past three years. The food quality is always consistently great, prices are reasonable, and service is quick. I think it’s a family run business, because is always see the same couple working the floor. At first, they may not seem like the friendliest smiliest people, but they really are nice. I actually like their straight to the point style. The place is always clean and they are able to accommodate solo diners as well as larger groups. They are my first go-to sushi place in the neighborhood.

My visit to Ichi Sushi Brooklyn was deeply disappointing, and I would not recommend it to anyone. The overall experience was a letdown, from the chaotic atmosphere to the subpar food and questionable service practices. The restaurant was in a state of disarray. Cluttered and messy, the tables felt chaotic and uninviting. To make things worse, a sign stating a $50 minimum charge per person was displayed on the table, which I found off-putting and unprofessional. The service was abysmal. It's rare that I give 1 star but the food and service was absolute trash. I ordered the soft shell crab appetizer which was disgusting and inedible. I also ordered the scorpion roll which comes in the shape of a scorpion which was pretty cool. It consists of 12 pieces of soft shell crab sushi pieces and all I could taste was the rice. The sushi wasn't fresh at all and was also flavorless, dry, and stiff. It definitely wasn't made fresh today and was probably stored in the fridge for a day or 2. I also ordered the chicken teriyaki which was so disappointing I couldn't believe what I was looking
