Featured in the movie, Sling Blade it is a local popular place to eat for lunch. Especially for us blue collar. Fairly quick easy to access with big vehicles across the street. The food is like eating at home off the grill. There is nothing fancy about it. Just old town, Americana. The ice cream is one of my kids favorites things after school in the summer. The staff is always friendly. Anything you order you won’t be disappointed you can even sit inside where Billy Bob Thornton did. I drive thru most times but I have eaten inside. Even sat at the booth Billy Bob Thornton ate at. I have a bad habit of eating their corn dogs but the burgers are yummy and the employees are nice and friendly and the place is clean.

We had to stop here because Slingblade is a movie we watch over and over. My husband declared this the best burger he’s had in a while! (Sad that I had already eaten because it did look amazing!) Around $13 for a Double Cheeseburger and Fries!

My family has been coming here since my dear Nanna was a teenager, she would have been 76 this year. The BBQ pulled pork sandwich is delicious, it always has been. I usually order some mozzarella sticks but this time due to the quickness of our trip I only ordered the pulled pork and a coke. The Diner is small and fast and it really makes you travel back in time. I love eating at the tables on the inside wondering where my own Nanna sat with her friends as a young lady. The decorations and paint have remained the same as far back as I can remember, I'm 32 now. I truly love this sweet treasure
