Decided to come give this place a shot and man am I glad I did. George is amazing and the food is simply delicious!!! Such a warm home cooked meal feeling. I had the hamburger steak with yams, collard greens and cornbread and mmmm mmmm mmm yall it was amazing.

This food is true southern cooking. Every dish is exactly like you would expect it to be at your grandma's table - accurate, generous, and delicious. The fact that they will fry fresh fish on demand every single day without an upcharge is unmatched by any meat and three, anywhere. There is never a wait. Every single person who works there is friendly. I can have a full lunch, with leftovers(!), for $10 plus tip. Sarris has apparently been around for many, many years, but I only recently discovered it. I'm so glad I did.

Delicious and fast stop for lunch! The atmosphere is very laid back and the restaurant was clean. I had the chicken parmesan which was delicious. The mac n cheese, green beans and banana pudding were also great. Fast friendly service and a never empty glass are about all you can ask for in a quick lunch stop. I will definitely stop back by when on this side of town!
