This Wendy's is one of our go-to stops, especially when we’re heading out of town toward Springfield—it’s the perfect midway break. For a fast food spot, it consistently delivers. The hamburgers are always made fresh to order, which really makes a difference. One thing that sets this location apart is their taco salad—it’s surprisingly hard to find these days, and it happens to be one of my absolute favorites. 4/22/2026 - 11:00am @Bolingbrook - Went through the drive thru and my fries and sandwich were cold. I parked my car and went into the restaurant. The manager on duty put me through the 3rd degree questioning process by fingering the sandwich in front of me to determine if it was cold or not. I asked for a fresh sandwich and fry, she told me that it would be a 7 minute wait for fresh and that I could wait in my car. She then brought out refried fries which is why she told me to wait in the car (EVERYONE KNOWS WHEN YOU RE-DROP FRIES). I’m now afraid that the sandwich she fingered was re-dropped

We was coming through the area.It was later in the evening close to closing. We got a nice fresh chicken sandwich. The person working the window told us to drive safe because it was late. I thought that was really nice.

I ordered two bacon egg and cheese croissants without the bacon because I’m vegetarian on DoorDash. Every single time I order a sandwich on there WITHOUT meat, it always comes back WITH MEAT ON THERE. Today, I received the sandwiches with sausage patties not even bacon, BUT SAUSAGE, which tells me, they either don’t read the orders or they doing this on purpose.
