R Sinha★★★★★Bit crowded on weekends!! Food is fresh! Tasty! Mango lassi, dahi vada, dosa, idli, samosa, gulab jaamun etc…
nishka monteiro★★★★We had the Mysore Dosa, Mirchi Bajji, Veg Pakora, Dahi Wada and Boondi Laddu. The food was delicious and tasted home cooked. The cafeteria is attached to the temple, on a lower level. We went on a weekend afternoon around 3 so there was hardly any wait for the food and lots of seating available.
Shubhendu Dey★★★★★This cafe serves all fresh South Indian delicacies. Dosa is great. On Sunday you get some special items also. And it’s quite crowded. Long lines of devotees for food. Good portions are served for many snacks items. Tea and coffee are plenty to drink. Sambar is always hot and 2 type of chutneys available. A must visit for every devotee to experience good food.
Sanjay Gupta★★★★This is a review of the canteen (cafeteria) inside Balaji temple. after Darshan, I guess one must visit the cafeteria, I loved their tamarind rice & Pongal. you can find many options on the menu and I guess prices - that's shocking, none of the items are above $5 and I don't know how they are managing it ( I guess it's a non-profit cafe). in this inflation time, how one can sustain providing quality food under $5? We ordered Pongal, tamarind rice, Bisibelbath, samosa, Lassi, Mysore masala dosa. Loved their Pongal, simple yet great taste. there is an option for to-go as well. Same old system
