Getaway Motor Cafe is my absolute favorite coffee shop of all time. I’ve had offices in France, Denmark, Scotland, Japan, and India, and I’ve enjoyed some truly wonderful coffee around the world (honorable mentions to Tokyo, Seattle and New York). Somehow, though, the very best cup is right here in my own backyard, less than a 10-minute drive from my house. What truly sets this place apart is the staff. They prepare each drink with real artistry and make everyone who walks in feel genuinely welcome. My family and I now visit a few times a week, and it’s become one of our favorite traditions. I

Cute location, good coffee. It’s a little bit loud when it’s busy, so I recommend that you bring your noise cancelling headphones if you’re going to try and sit and decompress.

We stopped by here today per the recommendation of our daughter-in-law. We completely enjoyed the mocha, hot chocolate and scone. We had planned on taking everything to go but the atmosphere was so charming that we stayed. The service was excellent as well. We'll be back when it's a little warmer so we can sit outdoors with our dog. Highly recommend this place!

Loved the coffee shop itself and they have a wide variety of drinks, but wasn’t the biggest fan of the matcha. It was just generally kinda bland/weak and quite pale as you can tell from the photo. I was looking forward to it as one of the other reviews was raving about it but it wasn’t something I’d order again. Would definitely stop again in the future and try something different as it’s a lovely little spot!
