Fast and friendly preparation of a lunch special of Hunan Beef, Pork Fried Rice and an eggroll. The eggroll was coated in grease, dried out with uncooked dough beneath the oil-soaked outer layer. The bland, under-seasoned, pork fried rice had no visible pork. The extremely tough beef in the main dish had been prepared using baking soda and a tenderizing hammer in an attempt to make it less tough. What I got was still quite tough with the added feature of being mushy (from the baking soda)…really disgusting. How on earth does this place have such bad reviews?!?! I ordered and received my food in under 20 minutes. The portions were large and everything was fresh, not to mention delicious. $10 worth of fried rice will last me three days (they stuffed it so much the lid barely closed, and I didn't know they made these containers so big!). When it comes to takeout, this is about as genuine and standard as it gets. It seems a lot of people have far too high standards about a meal thats so cheap. I loved it, and I'll sure be ordering more since they're so closeby.
