Ordered the steak tacos just because that's what I had a taste for. Over all the flavors were good, the only draw back was the store bought tortilla, just to simple of a flavor profile for what I think they are trying to accomplish. But hey if you need a taco fix this will hit the spot!

Taco Depot is the best Mexican food spot in Crown Point and Merrillville. Their Karla Tacos are life changing, for real. They also have the perfect horchata, and their fruity pebble shake is delicious. On top of their food, their customer service is always friendly and fast. If you haven’t tried them and love Mexican food like me, you gotta check them out.

Last several times I have gone something on my order was either missing or food was messed up, there is no email to be able to contact them and no one would answer the phone when I called. This last time I ordered a hot cheese burrito and I only got meat on it, no cheese and no hot cheetos. We didn't receive the chips with our cheese sauce and the corn nuggets tasted like they were fried in old oil. Last time they even forgot 1 order of the nuggets. I usually order two 20 piece to share between my wife myself and our 3 kids cause they love them. I have not been very happy with the food lately,

Hy husband and i got the steak tacos dinner, four extra tacos, and a large horchata. The food is delicious, the decor is colorful and inviting, the customer service is always awesome, and its very clean. The people that work here definitely care. I always look forward to coming back.
