Sushi U is such a gem in Crystal Lake and makes for a really cute date night spot! Their all-you-can-eat menu offers a great variety of items, which is one of the reasons I enjoyed it so much. During our visit, we tried several sushi rolls, pork ramen, takoyaki, fried scallops, edamame, and miso soup. Everything was delicious, and the sushi was especially fresh. I’ve been looking for a good sushi place for months and I think I finally found the one! We came in as a big group because I was celebrating my birthday and the staff was so nice (I even got some cute chopsticks as a gift!). Besides the food being amazing the service was exceptional along with the atmosphere 10/10. Would definitely recommend others to try it out! (their super crunch roll changed my life)

My wife and I visited Sushi U for lunch in March 2026. I have to say I loved this place. They have an excellent value all you can eat option. The appetizers we got were fresh and tasty. The rolls were really good and fresh too 👍. Great size rolls too! I love how much variety you can get with all you can eat option to its almost their entire menu only excluding boats, combos and stuff you wouldn't expect to get in AYCE. The interior is awesome and looks inviting and fun. The wait staff checked on us often and was exactly what you want when you are doing AYCE. 5 stars will be coming back
