We had previously come to their bar, Sylvestro, and were so impressed that we wanted to come to Urbano. We were blown away by our experience here and plan on coming back. The ambiance is perfect for date night as it is nice, dark, and moody. The servers here/at Sylvestro have easily been some of the nicest ones in the DFW area. Urbano Cafe is a special place. We’ve been a couple times over the past month, and the food and staff are consistently fantastic. Kevan, Kelso, and Courtney have been great about making recommendations on the menu and giving insight on dishes to try. The pacing of the meal is fantastic, which is something very hard to find these days. It’s very clear they pay attention to the details of each table. Wine list is thoughtful and very well priced. This might be my new favorite restaurant in Dallas! The vibe inside is so cozy and intimate. The service was incredible! I went with 5 other people and every single one of us enjoyed what we ordered. Our waitress, Amy, was absolutely phenomenal, attentive, warm, and genuinely invested in making sure we had everything we needed. She struck that perfect balance of being present without ever feeling intrusive, and her recommendations were spot‑on. I also want to highlight the manager, Kevin, who set the tone for the entire evening. Professional, welcoming, and clearly dedicated to creating a great atmosphere, Kevin made the whole experience feel seamless. You can tell the team here cares deeply about their guests.
