I go in today and order the new Cajun Shrimp Comeback Salad. The guy brings the food to our table and says "this is the shrimp and avocado salad" and it had half an avocado on it. I didn't remember the Cajun salad having avocado on it so I questioned him if that was the Cajun salad. He kept saying that was the Cajun salad. So I go online and pull up the menu. I look at the receipt and see where they rang us up for the shrimp and avocado salad and not the Cajun salad. The shrimp and avocado salad isn't even ON THE MENU anymore. Ate there today while in from Texas visiting my son at Fort Rucker. We have a few in Texas, but none that are nearby me. Let me say this, please put one closer to me in Texas because this place was fantastic!!! Portions were large, food and condiments were great. And most of all, the staff was wonderful! All the ladies were so sweet and even the guy bus-ing the tables was very nice! It was a great experience and thanks ladies for being so cool!!

I discovered Newk’s from a commercial and have been hooked ever since! The food is great, the staff is always friendly, and the place is clean and affordable in Dothan, AL. We usually go for the Trio. It’s a great way to enjoy a little bit of everything. I meet the manager, Shanequa, and expressed how impressed I am with the younger staff. For teenagers, they’re incredibly pleasant and helpful, which really stands out each time I visit. It’s not something you see often, and it’s one of the reasons I keep coming back. Hope you visit, to appreciate the great food and service.

A rude black lady answered the phone I had called and told her asked her if they could bring my food out to me which they usually do I'm disabled and anyways she had said yeah but I called and I called back and I said is there anyway I could get a glass of free water she said well we're not going to keep bringing your food out to you I understand you have a dog and I said I'm disabled she said well a lot of people are disabled and then she just got off the phone super rude I won't be back to this restaurant you need to train your people that lady had a mouth on her Terrible service!!!
