We were passing through and this place came recommended and it was great!!! Way better than the catfish we had on Beale St. a few days ago. We tried several dishes: - Fried oickeled Green tomatoes - Fried Catfish plate - Blackened Trout + Grilled Salmon - veggie platter (zucchini, broccoli, Cajun coleslaw and collard greens,). This place was GREAT! I highly recommend the Catfish and trout. The salmon was good, not great. But the serving was large and it was cooked nicely, the grilled option just didn't have much flavor. My family and I were on vacation and visited soulfish on 2-26-26 on our way home it was my father birthday we had pleasure of Mandi to serve us party of 9 let me say she was kind attentive her customer service was above and beyond amazing!! As soon as we ordered our food and was waiting she made it her business to come and check in on us she explained the menu perfectly our food was delicious and piping hot!! Sunday afternoon outing. The patio had lovely weather, but lacked outdoor charm, feeling more like a parking lot. Service started off average but got better later. The fish breading was too thick for my taste, though the food was served hot. One out of four entrees was delayed by about 10 minutes, but the server apologized. I decided to grab takeout from Soul Fish Cafe while in a hurry. I’ve dined in many times before and have always been pleased—the portions are generous, the food is consistently good, and the presentation in the restaurant is well done.
