Highly recommend for seafood while in Eureka. The Oysters Rockefeller were amazing! Creamy and just flat out delicious. Also had the calamari. The entrees are huge and served with salad or soup. The chowder is creamy and full of flavor. Service and ambiance were top notch.

Five stars for locally caught seaweed + excellent service (thank you, Paula!) + pretty perfectly cooked dishes made for a lovely meal. We were very happy with the crab cakes (substantive and loaded with crab), lingcod (perfectly cooked), and scallops (scrumptious!); and the crème brûlée for dessert — unfortunately the sugar in the key lime pie was overpowering. Shared our anniversary and little disappointed. The vegetables were all cold.The chowder was really good salad was okay, good and fresh and the prime rib tasted wonderful. Good clean, place, busy but disappointed in the vegetables. Our server brought us out new fresh ones, and she was great.

We enjoyed the complimentary chowder, and the fried calamari and mushrooms were all good. The seafood fettuccine, however, had more sauce than I prefer. We also noticed afterward that, even though we had a dinner reservation, we were seated on the bar side of the restaurant, next to the staff service door, which has a bit different vibe from the other any area.
