I've gone two times in the last month with a party of three and each time there was no wait to sit. The staff was very kind and attentive to our tables needs. The food came rather quickly, was hot and delicious. I personally had the waffle. It was just right with crispy edges and a soft center in the middle. I would highly recommend this as a food option. The only turnoff was the homeless guy sitting in the front of the door, that everyone just seemed to walk past. Fantastic old school diner style restaurant. Echo what others have said about the fantastic, friendly service and good eats for cheap. I stopped here for a quick bite to eat while waiting for my mom's appointment at the nearby hospital to finish. They had a daily "empire special" that was too good to pass up and I chose the Soup (Chicken Noodle) and Small Salad (homemade blue cheese dressing) which combined with a cup of coffee was perfect.
